MISSION – The Mission of Evangel Assembly of God has been stated by Jesus, shortly before ascending back to Heaven:
Matt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in Heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. NKJV
The Church – all people who have accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior – is commanded to share Jesus with their families, friends, and acquaintances, wherever they are in the world. The message is simple: Jesus came from God to die for our sins, and reinstate our relationship with God. After asking Jesus to forgive us, and come into our lives, we are to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in following and imitating Jesus.
Why? Because Jesus said:
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. NKJV
So, Evangel Assembly of God exists to share the love, mercy, and compassion of Jesus in the North Bay and around the world.
VISION – It is our desire to share Jesus with every person in our area, and around the world. Do we ‘push’ Jesus on people? Of course not! We share what we have received, and if they wish to hear more, we continue. If not, we stop. We do this because we have experienced such amazing results in our walk through life with Jesus.
VALUES STATEMENT – Jesus said, ‘God so loved the world that He sent His Son’ to save the world. All human beings are made in the ‘image and likeness of God,’ Genesis 1:26. When we rebelled against God, we fell out of fellowship with Him, but we still bear His image and likeness. God sincerely wants to restore our fellowship with Him, and He wants this so much that He sent Jesus to die to pay the penalty for our sin – death. We believe that Jesus loves YOU so much that He died so that YOU might live - forever.

Our Story
Pastor David and Rhonda Royer
The Royers have been in pastoral ministry since 1979. Having pastored churches from New Hampshire to Tonga, South Pacific, their ministry has taken them to the International Christian Assembly, Nuku'alofa, Tonga, the Tonga Bible College, jails, prisons, and many types of institutions, and churches in five states in America. Having ministered cross-culturally, they feel quite at home in the North Bay. They would love to have you come for a visit!
